The photo of Nastya Tykhoy, who was walking dogs in wheelchairs out of the ruined Irpen, flew around all social networks and world media.

Together with her husband Arthur Lee, Nastya saved 24 animals from inevitable death - dogs, cats, hamsters, chameleons and even spiders.

It was very difficult. On the way she broke her finger, she was pulled in different directions by a bunch of dogs.

"The dogs resisted. At first, they tried to run back home. But the biggest DOG I kept led them. I'm very proud of her. Otherwise, I would have to pull everyone myself," she said.

The journey from the house to the bridge, which they had to cross to be safe, usually took 15-20 minutes. It took 3.5 hours with the animals.
